FAXABILITY

Faxability enables you have a phone and fax machine on a single phone line. Faxability comes with a separate number for your fax machine. It also has a different ring tone, so you can distinguish between an incoming fax or phone call.

Important points

  • A phone call and fax call cannot be made at the same time
  • Faxability is not available in all areas
  • Faxability requires a compatible fax machine or a decoder

Using FaxAbility

  • Faxability comes with an separate number for your fax machine
  • Fax calls have a different ring to voice calls and are automatically recognised by the fax
  • A different ring tone alerts you that the call is a fax

FAX ADDRESS

FaxAddress enables you to receive faxes anywhere in New Zealand, perfect for people on the move. Faxes are stored in a mailbox until you are ready to receive them and can be retrieved from any fax machine by using a touchtone phone or mobile.

FaxAddress costs $8.88 per month plus GST.
There is a one off setup fee of $30 plus GST

 To receive faxes over a phone or fax costs $0.35 per page

Important points

  • Publish your FaxAddress mailbox number as your fax number
  • Faxes are stored for 99 days unless deleted
  • There may be a charge for notifications and access to your mailbox

Using Fax Address

  • All faxes are sent to this number and stored in the FaxAddress mailbox
  • You can be notified of a new fax via a phone, pager or mobile
  • You can use any touchtone or mobile phone to access your mailbox – within New Zealand or Internationally
  • Faxes can directed to print out on any fax machine or compatible PC or can be forwarded to another destination if required

FAXADVANTAGE

FaxAdvantage ensures that your customers can send you a fax on their first attempt. If your fax line is busy, faxes are diverted to a mailbox and delivered when your fax machine is free.

FaxAdvantage costs $10.50 per month plus GST.
Faxes delivered by FaxAdvantage $0.09 per page, your first 30 pages a month is free

There is a one off setup fee of $35 plus GST

Important points

  • FaxAdvantage requires a dedicated business line
  • FaxAdvantage is not compatible with some Smartphone services and line types
  • Outbound faxes are charged at normal call rates. Minimum charge is 30 seconds

Using Fax Advantage

  • If a fax can’t be delivered it is automatically diverted to a FaxAdvantage mailbox
  • Faxes go into an automatic delivery schedule and are delivered when the fax machine is free.
  • Fax Waiting can be programmed to call you if a fax is unable to be delivered within a specified time
